Welcome Lynn as our guest today

It’s wonderful to have the very talented Lynn Stevens as our guest today. I have been a follower of Lynn’s blog for a long time and love to see the altered art she makes which is so beautiful and inspiring.

Lynn has made an altered book using canvases, Tim's stencils and distress stains, die cuts and grunge board.

I love Tim's use of stencils and doubled with embossing paste it makes for great texture.

The distress stains enhance all those nooks and crannies giving a feel of old tooled leather.

I splattered dripped and sprayed to achieve just the look I wanted for "Just Stain It".

Thank you so much Lynn for sharing this wonderful altered book, those stains have really given that wonderful aged and antiqued look to the cover.
Do pop over to Trash to Treasure to see more of Lynn’s fabulous art, you will really feel as though you are wandering round a treasure trove.

Don’t forget Travellers, there are four more days to join us for Jenny’s ‘Just Stain It’ challenge, we would love to see you join in if you haven’t already. Click the link in the sidebar of the challenge blog to be transported immediately to see the Creative Guides inspiring makes and those that have joined us so far.
