This is a unique challenge blog where we are inspired by and focus on the Vintage; shabby; mixed-media; art journaling; industrial, timeworn and steampunk genres and encompass the talent, flair, expertise and ideas of many artists that we are inspired by. We welcome all types of projects - cards, journaling, assemblage, layouts, albums, atcs, altered art in fact whatever you want to share (as long as it is in good taste).

A Vintage Journey is a challenge blog that sets themes allowing artists to share their projects by linking to our blog posts. Each month three of those entries are chosen as our Top 3 and their projects posted on our Pinterest Boards. Sometimes a prize will be available for a winner.  Anyone involved with A Vintage Journey (ie the Creative Guides) do not and will not ever share personal information of anyone who enters our challenges with third parties. We use Blogger as our website platform and they do not store any information about your visit to this blog other than to analyze and optimize your content and reading experience through the use of cookies. You can turn off the use of cookies at anytime by changing your specific browser settings.

The only other information Blogger collects on behalf of A Vintage Journey is limited to name and your Google+ or blog link when you leave a comment; and Feedburner also stores your name and email address if you have elected to follow by email. We provide posts for challenges and tutorials for your  inspiration and information, we never sell any products and have no need to ever ask for your credit card details.

If you subscribe via email, you are entitled to unsubscribe at any time of your choosing by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of your latest (or any) email. Your email address will only ever be used to notify you of a new blogpost here at A Vintage Journey. The data is held by Feedburner and is subject to their security protocols.
