This is a unique challenge blog where we are inspired by and focus on the Vintage; shabby; mixed-media; art journaling; industrial, timeworn and steampunk genres and encompass the talent, flair, expertise and ideas of many artists that we are inspired by. We welcome all types of projects - cards, journaling, assemblage, layouts, albums, atcs, altered art in fact whatever you want to share (as long as it is in good taste).

Welcome to A Vintage Journey

We are a fortnightly challenge blog for vintage, shabby chic and mixed-media artists and paper crafters. We focus on the style, techniques, products and ideas of Tim Holtz, we love to use Ranger distress inks, distress paints and distress stains and lots of Idea-Ology including metal trinkets and embellishments. Rubber stamps, sizzix dies, embossing powders and folders are all part of our vintage tool kit and we will provide you with technique tutorials and step by step processes to provide inspiration and help develop your creativity. We accept all types of projects like cards, albums, 3D assemblage, scrapbook layouts and pages, tags, frames, shadow boxes and anything else as long it is in a shabby vintage style.

Please come and join us on the 7th of March when the journey begins.

xx
