Monochromatic Challenge - Winners and Pinworthies

Hello everybody Tracy here.  It's time to reveal the Winner and the Pinworthies for the Monochromatic Challenge (July 2016) hosted by me last month.  Thank you to all those who played along - as always there were so many fantastic entries, and we enjoyed visiting all of them.

Before we reveal our winners though, we're delighted to welcome our winning Guest, the wonderful Kerstin of Scrapbook Dreams.  She's created an amazing project for our Stencil It theme, so let's hand over to her to share all the details.

Welcome everyone!
It's an honour to be invited here and I'm very happy about this.

Kerstin here and I have been creating for many years now, always in search of new techniques and yet unexplored territory. I'm a girl with a big vintage heart and love the things that are old and nobody wants anymore, because they have a history. My big passion are colours, textures and all the things which I find interesting and exciting to try it. I love to tell stories with all of my projects.

This month the challenge theme is Stencil it,  yes, I love it, because a theme with so many opportunities.

I decided to make a mixed media project in industrial style,  a new home decoration piece.

I used 3 several stencils - Rays, Children and the words.
Before it was a letter block set, made of cardboard.

On the basis of white gesso I used some acrylic paints diluted with water
and crackle paste + texture paste for altered effects.

For the children stencil black acrylic paint and added a script stamp with white inkpad over the stencils.

some details

I hope you like my inspiration for this beautiful month theme!
Thank you very much
 Happy crafting!
Kerstin
